Do I need a Will?
Yes, if you're over 18 and have more than $40,000 in things like KiwiSaver, savings, a home, life insurance or shares. If you're a parent, you also need a Will so you can choose who cares for your children if you're not here.
What happens if I die without a Will?
The law decides how your assets are divided between your family, using a set formula. It's a myth that the government takes everything, but you lose control over who gets what, who's in charge, and when your children receive their share (at 18).
How are EPAs different from a Will?
A Will covers what happens after you die. Enduring Powers of Attorney (EPAs) cover the time you're alive but can't make decisions for yourself, for example after an accident or illness. Without EPAs, your family has to apply to the Family Court.
What if my situation is complicated?
That's normal, and it's exactly what the appointment is for. Holly regularly helps with blended families, trusts, businesses and overseas assets. You don't need to have it all figured out before you book.

Yes. You book online, fill in a short questionnaire, and meet Holly on Google Meet from wherever you are. Evenings and weekends are available. You pay $50 to book and the balance after your appointment.
