How It Works

It’s only three simple steps

  • Choose a time that suits you, with weekend and evening slots available.

All appointments are held via Google Meet, so you can attend from anywhere.

You can book in two ways:

    • Pay $50 now + balance after your appointment – our most popular option (and you save $100).

    • Pay over 8 weeks – pay your first instalment today, then you’ll receive an email with a link to lock in your appointment time.

  • After booking, you’ll receive a short online questionnaire that takes around 10 minutes to fill out.
This helps us understand your position before your appointment.

Then we’ll meet on Google Meet to chat through everything, answer your questions, and make sure your Will and/or EPAs genuinely reflect your wishes.

  • Following your appointment, we’ll:

    • Send your final invoice (if using the deposit option), or

    • Continue your payment schedule (if paying over 8 weeks).

Once the balance or final instalment is complete, your documents are finalised and emailed to you for printing and signing.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Yes. If you are over 18 and have more than $40,000 in things like KiwiSaver, savings, a home, life insurance, or shares, you need a Will.

If you are a parent, you also need a Will. It helps plan who will care for your children if you are not here.

  • A person who dies without a Will is called intestate, most people don’t know what happens if you die without one. It’s a common myth that the government can claim your money and assets, but that’s not true (unless all other options have been exhausted). They do however decide how your assets get divided between your family members. Creating a Will means you stay in control of how your assets are shared with your beneficiaries, instead of your children receiving a lump sum when they turn 18.

  • For a Will to be valid, it must:

    • Be in writing

    • Include the date it was signed

    • Be signed by you (the will-maker)

    • Be signed by two witnesses who are present at the same time as you sign

The original signed Will should be stored somewhere safe, where your executors or family can easily find it when needed.

  • Enduring Powers of Attorney (EPAs) apply to your medical, legal, and financial matters while you are still alive, usually if you have an accident or medical emergency and can’t make decisions for yourself.

In contrast, your Will only takes effect after you pass away. EPAs help make sure someone you trust can act for you if something happens during your lifetime.

  • We cover all bases, including blended families, trusts, businesses, shared home ownership, overseas assets, and more.

There hasn’t been a situation we haven’t been able to work through. But if your needs fall outside our scope, we’ll let you know upfront, and we guarantee a full refund.

Get it done now — your future self will thank you.

Most Kiwis don’t have a will, because they think they don’t need one. But if you have over $40,000 in assets, you NEED a will to prevent your loved ones from dealing with costly delays and stress.
